Registration is now open for the Ritchie County Elementary School Extended Summer Learning Program. This form can be found under family resources and student / family links on the Ritchie County Schools website. Due date for the registration form is April 23rd, 2024.

The Ritchie County High School Band and Choir both had excellent performances at Ritchie County High School Auditorium on Tuesday evening. Congratulations on a job well done. We would like to wish the band good luck as they perform for ratings.

Ritchie County Schools is seeking bids for dairy products for the 2024-2025 school year. All bids must be received in their entirety by 4:00 pm on May 10, 2024, at the following address: Ritchie County Schools Attn: Kari Rice, Director of Operations and Management 134 S. Penn Avenue Harrisville, WV 26362. Bids will be opened at the Ritchie County Board of Education Office at 9:15 am on May 13, 2024. Bid Packages may be requested by contacting Kari Rice at 304-643-2991 ext. 104. Please contact Kari Rice with any additional questions.

Ritchie County Schools will operate on a 2-hour early release on Monday, April 8, 2024. Outside Sporting Events and School Activities will begin at 4:00 pm.

Ritchie County hosted their annual Spelling Bee Wednesday evening. These young scholars did an amazing job! We would like to congratulate all of these children for being the spelling bee winners for their school. We also want to congratulate our county winners on a job well done.

Students from Ritchie County participated in the Regional Math Field Day at WVU Parkersburg on Monday. What a great group of students! They put forth their very best effort and came away with two students placing as alternates to go to the State Math Field Day Competition. Congratulations to all of these students for winning the local competition and earning the privilege to compete for our county.

Congratulations to these students that will be going on to the State Social Studies Fair. We want to wish them luck and thank them for their hard work on their projects.
