Good Afternoon families and students! Please excuse our progress at the High School. Ritchie County Schools is working on improving the back patio at RCHS. The new improvements will include ADA parking for school events and represents a significant investment in improving our School System. The new area will create more functional, welcoming, and accessible space for students, families, and community events.

Thank you for your patience during construction. Please watch for updates regarding temporary changes to school and event access.

Day in and day out, our custodians, aides, maintenance workers, and bus drivers serve as the backbone of our schools—keeping our facilities safe and running smoothly, assisting students through every step of their day, and ensuring safe journeys to and from school. Your tireless efforts behind the scenes create the foundation that makes learning and growing possible for everyone in our community. Collectively, this group has devoted 61 years to our students, schools, and community! We are deeply grateful for the care, kindness, and hard work you have poured into our district, and we wish you a happy, restful, and well-deserved retirement! Congratulations Jimmy Keener, Paulette Lafferre, Rick Sheets, Frank Hall, and Jerry Adams!
