Superintendent Haught introduced the new employees that will be working for Ritchie County Schools during the opening ceremony today. We would like to welcome these new employees to our county.
Superintendent Haught along with the Board of Education welcomed the staff of Ritchie County Schools back for the 2024-2025 school year today. During the opening ceremony Mrs. Haught presented awards, honored retirees, and welcomed new employees to our county. We are gearing up for a great year to work with the young people of Ritchie County.

Outdoor Recreation Day Camp has one more week of fun times planned for your. Camp starts at 8:00am and ends at 2:00pm each day Monday through Thursday. July 18th is our final day of camp. Come out and enjoy our final week of camp for the Summer of 2024.
The first two days of Outdoor Recreation Camp have been HOT but so much fun! Enjoy a few pictures from some of their favorite activities so far: creek critters, archery, hiking, rock climbing, tie dye and of course swimming! The students are having so much fun and we can’t wait to see what the rest of camp brings!😁

Ritchie County Schools Outdoor Recreation Day Camp is coming soon. Camp starts July 8th at North Bend State Park. This is a two week camp which runs Monday through Thursday each week from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. We look forward to fun times enjoying the great outdoors together.
Thanks so much for taking part in our Academic Learning Camp. It is now time for our last week. We finish up with a three day week on Wednesday. However, the fun isn't done yet. Our Outdoor Recreational Camp starts on July 8th. We look forward to more fun times at North Bend.
We would like to welcome our incoming 5th graders to Ritchie County Middle School. 5th Grade Transition camp will be Friday, August 2, 2024 from 8:00 am- 1:00pm. Incoming 5th graders will be receiving addition information in the mail mid-July. No registration required. Welcome Trailblazers!
