🎉 100th Day of School Celebration! 🎉

Smithville Elementary is excited to celebrate the 100th Day of School on Tuesday, January 27th! 🥳

This celebration is for 1st–4th grade students. Pre-K and Kindergarten students will have separate days to celebrate their own 100th Day of School.

Students are welcome (but not required!) to celebrate by dressing like they are 100 years old, showing off a collection of 100 items, or getting creative in any fun way that represents 100 days of learning. There’s no right or wrong way to participate—just have fun and celebrate being 100 days smarter! 💯📚

Please note: 🌨️ Due to impending weather, if we are not in school on Tuesday, we will celebrate the first day we are back in session instead.

We can’t wait to see all the creative ways our students celebrate this exciting milestone! 🎉

📚 Mid-Year GSA Benchmark Testing ✏️➗

Students in 3rd and 4th grade will begin mid-year GSA benchmark testing starting Tuesday, January 20th.

🗓 Testing Schedule:

Tuesday: Reading

Wednesday: Writing

Thursday: Math

Please help your child do their best by ensuring they get a good night’s sleep each night and arrive at school on time each day of testing.
