Ritchie County Archery is a new club sport starting this school year and is open to any 9th-12th grader. Join us next week in helping collect canned food items to donate to our local food banks. Students will earn 1 point per can to help their class earn more points for class competitions during Homecoming Spirit Week. Let's show our school spirit and help a worthy cause!

If you are interested in participating, please call Rick Haught at 304-869-3526. Festival queens, middle school teams/groups, youth sports/groups, etc. are welcome. Lineup is from 5:00-5:30PM at Hall Drilling in Ellenboro. The Homecoming game against Wahama will immediately follow the parade.
The Homecoming dance is Saturday, October 7th, from 7:00-10:00PM in the Ritchie County High School Commons.

Congratulations to Senior, Ryan Weekley for qualifying for the WV State Golf Tournament. Ryan will travel to Wheeling October 3rd and 4th to Oglebay Resort where he will play the Speidel Course.

Meet our Communities in Schools liaison, Mrs. Doak, or the "school mama" as most students refer to her. For those who are not familiar with Communities in Schools, their mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. They also help link educators and parents with the community to bring resources into the schools to create a network of support that keeps kids in school and engaged in learning.
