There is a new parent resource called ParentGuidance.org. This website offers support with a child's mental health and to assist with questions parents might have. There are a lot of resources available on this website including a monthly newsletter, parent coaching, and courses to take to better understand mental health issues.
National School Counseling Week is February 3rd-7th. Be sure to thank Kayleigh Board for helping our elementary school students through their academic journey!

No School, Monday November 11th in observance of Veterans Day
These students in Mrs. Sims class are preparing for Market Day. Market Day is a math project where 3rd graders learn about profit and expense. Students are involved with the entire process from purchasing materials, maing their product, creating their marketing plan, managing their expenses and calculating their profits. They must complete a presentation to convince their peers to buy their products, then they hold a market and sell what they have made.
Ritchie County High School Theater is having a Character Breakfast as a fundraiser on Saturday the 9th at the Harrisville Gym. Tickets will be available at the door that day for $20. The theater group is planning fun times for that day. We hope to see you there.
