Creed Collins received a very generous donation this morning from Save a Lot in Pennsboro. Save a Lot donated a Valentine candy for each of our students. Thank you Save a Lot!

We had many students with perfect attendance for the month of January. All students with perfect attendance for the month were entered to win a prize basket. Congratulations to the winners!
Remember that all students who attend school February 13th-17th will be entered to win a Valentine’s themed basket.

Creed Collins Elementary hosted their annual Social Studies Fair on Friday, January 20th. We would like to thank all those who helped make this event a success.
Congratulations to all participants on a job well done and good luck to the winners as they advance to the next level.





We would like to invite all CCES students to attend the Valentines Day dance on February 11th. Please note that students in prek-2nd grade must have an adult in attendance with them. Students in 3rd or 4th grade may be escorted by an adult to the dance and signed in, then the adult may leave for the duration of the dance. Students must be signed out by 7:00pm.


Yesterday, the 3rd 6 weeks award ceremony was held. Pictured are students who received a Cardinal of the 6 weeks, art, gym, or music award. 27 perfect attendance awards were also awarded. Way to go Cardinals!


Students received this flyer today to discuss the new attendance incentives for this semester at Creed Collins. We are very excited for these new changes to take place.


Congratulations to our students that participated in the county math field day on Tuesday, January 10th. Great job! We’ll be cheering you on as some of you head toward the regional math field day.




Congratulations to fourth grade students for their outstanding performance at Math field day. CCES students received First, Second, Third, 1st alternate, and 2nd alternate places in the county event. Way to go, Cardinals!


SMART529 ESSAY CONTEST

The sixteenth annual SMART529 “When I Grow Up” essay contest for children from Kindergarten through Grade 5 is now underway through February 24, 2023. Students may submit essays electronically or through paper entry forms with permission from a parent or guardian. SMART529 "When I Grow Up" contest entry forms, were mailed to schools the first week of January. Please ask the principals in your county to distribute the newsletter to students and parents.
