This year’s summer academy has been full of the joy of learning. Thanks to all the parents that sent these great children to our summer academy. We have enjoyed working with them.

It’s Independence Day! Have a wonderful holiday!

Ritchie County students involved in the summer learning academy had a wonderful trip to Discovery World in Parkersburg on Tuesday. What a great facility to have so close to us. Kids of all ages enjoyed the day.

Summer Academy is a place to learn and have fun doing it. These children had a blast with their balloon rocket lesson.

The 2nd week of Summer Learning Academy has flown by. It's hard to believe the program is half over! This week some students visited the library, made spaghetti bridges, drove robots and completed a fun balloon activity. ☀️

Do you see the smiles on the faces of these children? That’s because they are having fun learning about bridges and bridge building at the summer academy. These children in Mrs. Marple’s STEAM class built bridges out of an unusual material, Spaghetti! It’s pretty amazing how many blocks their bridges held.

Students have been busy having fun learning during the Summer Academic Learning Camp!
