September is attendance awareness month. Last week, Creed Collins had 162 students with perfect attendance. Those with perfect attendance were entered to win the September attendance baskets. Congratulations to the winners!
Mrs. Heather Lafferre attended the Celebration of Excellence in Charleston this evening held for all recipients of service personnel and Teacher of the Year winners. Mrs. Lafferre was chosen as Ritchie County's Teacher of the Year. She is a wonderful educator, friend, and colleague. We are so proud of her. Mrs. Lafferre, thank you for your dedication to your students every day!

At station 6, each student scratched off to reveal who their teacher will be for the 23-24 school year. Completed passports were entered to win door prizes which will be distributed once school starts. We enjoyed seeing our students and are ready for our Cardinals to soar this school year! If your student was unable to attend, they will receive the information provided to those in attendance of Open House.
