
Come out and support the Ritchie County High School theatre departments as we present our fall production of "As You Wish". There will be 3 public performances and doors will open 45 minutes prior to each performance. Tickets can be purchased at the door. $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Friday, the 15th, the performance will be at 6:30. The performance on Saturday and Sunday, the 16th & 17th, will both be at 2:00 in the afternoon.

Congratulations to the attendance basket winners for the month of November. 160 students were entered to win the baskets for attending school all of this week.



The PTO is purchasing t-shirts for all CCES students. Each student will receive a free T-shirt with design #1 on it. You do not need to place an order for it on the site. The free student shirt has been ordered! These will be completed in time for our Narnia field trip next month.
Parents/ families can purchase Cardinal apparel for themselves or other designs for their student at https://cces.company.site
The designs available are attached to this post. Once you are on the site and select a design, options will appear that will allow you to select whether you want it on a T-shirt, long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt etc.








Creed Collins Elementary will be having their Christmas Program at RCHS on December 5, 2023.
Pre-k to 1st grade: 5:45 pm Drop off students; Program begins at 6pm
2nd to 4th grade: 6:45 pm Drop off students; Program begins at 7pm
Pick up students after the program in the cafeteria.


Important information is coming home from Mrs. White regarding our Christmas program this year.


Reminder- No School November 20th-24th for Thanksgiving Break.

Each week our Cardinal mascot spends the week in the classroom with the highest attendance percentage from the week before. Students in Mrs. Hill’s 2nd grade had perfect attendance last week and earned the Creed Collins cardinal to have in their classroom all week. Students have tried their best to make him comfortable by providing a nest, egg, crown and lightsaber. Life is good in the second grade.


Don't forget the PTO meeting this evening. The class with the highest attendance will win a special prize!

FFA Fruit Sale
Ritchie County High School FFA is in the midst of their annual fruit sale. Not only do they have fruit, they also have meat sticks and cheesecake. This is a great way to support the FFA with something good to eat. All orders are due to the school by Nov. 17th. If you have questions you may contact Wendy Knopp at the school. The food is scheduled for delivery the week of Dec. 11th.

FFA Fruit Sale
Ritchie County High School FFA is currently in the midst of their annual fruit sale. If you enjoy fruit, this is a great way to support the FFA with some tasty fruit. All orders are due by Nov. 17th.



Please don't forget to have your child wear red, white, and blue this Thursday, Nov. 9 to school for our Veterans Day Luncheon.

The Ritchie County High School Theatre Department will present a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre on November 11th & 12th. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Orders due by November 6th.



We greatly appreciate all the support for the CCES extravaganza fundraiser that was held earlier this year. The items are being delivered this Thursday, November 2nd. Items need picked up between 3:00-4:00pm. We do not have room to store frozen items, so please make arrangements for items to be picked up.
