The Theatre Department at Ritchie County High School has been busy preparing their play: The Snow Queen. Performances will be on May 2nd, 4th and 5th. The time will be at 6:30 on the 2nd and the 4th, then move to 2:30 on the 5th. Mark your calendar so you can come enjoy the show.

With the end of the school year approaching, we wanted to take this time to remind parents/family members to be cautious when taking pictures while attending field trips/award ceremonies/ other school activities. It is important to make sure when taking photos at these events, that you do not take pictures of a student that is not yours. Some students cannot be posted, so please be mindful of that when taking pictures! Thank you.

Dates for the Ritchie County Schools Excess Levy
Today we got to celebrate our secretary Mrs. Mindy Jones! Those that know Mrs. Mindy know she loves to receive student artwork from students, but more than that she loves the students she works with each day at CCES. She received numerous cards, hugs, and gifts from our students and staff today! We appreciate all she does for students and staff everyday.
Ritchie County Schools Excess Levy Information
Yesterday, Mrs. Webb’s kindergarten class celebrated Earth Day. They made pinecone peanut butter birdseed for the birds. They hung them on a tree outside of their classroom, so they can watch the birds enjoy what they made.
Registration is now open for the Ritchie County Elementary School Extended Summer Learning Program. This form can be found under family resources and student / family links on the Ritchie County Schools website. Registration forms are due today, April 23rd.
Ritchie County Schools is seeking bids for dairy products for the 2024-2025 school year. All bids must be received in their entirety by 4:00 pm on May 10, 2024, at the following address:
